December 5th, 2024 was International Volunteer Day. It was also the day of our End of end-of-year get-together at Cayuga. Volunteering in our communities is an important part of “The Cayuga Way” and throughout the year, many of our team members, often accompanied by guests, head out to help locals in need, plant trees or clean up beaches and rivers.
This December, the Cayuga Management and Corporate Team headed to Poas Volcano on International Volunteering Day. We were asked to help with the maintenance of the park infrastructure under the guidance of Proparques, which is a non-profit organization in Costa Rica that works to promote the conservation and sustainable management of protected areas.
Meanwhile, the team of our Centralized Reservations Office had a very different and unique end-of-year activity. They explored the bioluminescence of the Nicoya Gulf.
And just in case you have not seen it. Here is the recap of our Cayuga Week 2024. This is our most important event of the year, when we bring to together middle management from the hotels for a few days of training, motivation and fun.
